The thirteenth week

This week I finally managed to finish the genotyping of the zebrafish larvae for my project. to be honest it took a lot longer than expected because some samples were difficult to genotype. I also helped my supervisor in preparing for a future experiment, it was preparing a new fishline with a new mutation. I finished genotyping wednesday but the qPCR machine needed for the next step wasn’t availeble till next eek so thursday and friday I just worked on my thesis and I actually made quite a bit of progress but I need the qPCR results to finish it and make a conclusion.

outside of work nothing much happened, just the usual. going on walks during the week and in the weekend on saturday going to the city. the weather has been getting better and it has been getting warmer because of which there are more people out and about on the streets. there were many people walking around on the streets but it was stil manageble. because of all those people the café’s that I usually go to are full so I can’t get a cup of tea and sit down to read for a while. at noon I went to eat at a chinese restaurant, it was really good but the portion sise was really big, I could barely finish it. on sunday I went grocery shopping in the mornig and in the afternoon I worked a bit more on my thesis and abstract for my project.
