the fourteenth + fifteenth week

I am taking these two together because nothing much happened. at work I moved onto the next step in my project which is also the last part, it was qPCR. it took me two tries for some plates because of contamination in the negative control, which is not good. luckily on the second try it went better, and since everything was run in duplo I could check the preciseness of my pepetting and I have to say that is was really good. the results were processed after that and the results were as expected, so thats really good for my project. I’m just glad I got results because it was getting tight in time. for the rest of the time at work I have been writing my thesis.

outside of work it has been a lot of the same, although i have been going for walks less than usual. the weather has been getting better with warmer temperatures and more sun. talking about the sun, the days have been getting longer and longer, now even at 23:00 it is stil light out. that is quite annoying because I have trouble falling asleep now because of the light. on saturday I didn’t stay out long because I have been trieng to focus on writing my thesis which is comming along slowly. for the rest it’s been about the same as other weeks.
